William Hardy Housman, III.

William Hardy Housman III. -was born on April 15, 1948, and passed away after an extended battling leukemia on February 8, 2025.

Hardy loved his friends and family. He is survived by his brother, Perry Housman (Jan); niece, Elizabeth Whetstine (John); nephew, Bryan Housman and grandniece and grandnephew, Isabella Whetstine and Noah Whetstine.

Hardy loved his country and served in the US army, achieving the rank of Major. He also loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and spent many years in Christian Studies following his love of the Biblical word. He spoke frequently of favorite verses and loved to share the gospel whenever he could.

A brief military funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2025, at 2PM sharp, at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery, located at 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221. (Please arrive by 1:45pm)
