Larry Clarion Spencer

Larry C. Spencer- Age 81, of West Nashville, passed from this life on Monday, March 10, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Porter Spencer and Betty Odell Place; and sister, Janice Ruth Hornal.

Larry is survived by his son, William Porter Spencer (Rebecca Abernathy); grandson, William Jake Spencer; brother, William Steven Spencer (Linda); nephews, James Luis Huff (Angie), Michael Steven Spencer (Jennifer), and Daniel Thompson Spencer (Meredith).

Larry was a faithful member of Scottsboro Baptist Church for 18 years. He worked as a contractor for many years and had various real estate investments. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was very much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Scottsboro First Baptist Church, 5253 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN, on April 12, at 1:00 PM.
