Patricia "Patti" Fay Thompson

Patricia “Patti” Thompson – Age 76, passed away April 17, 2025, in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her sisters, Pamela Burnett and Donna Jackson.

Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Thompson; daughters, Regina Duncan (Chad Croy), Angela Thompson (Jaime Brassard); grandchildren, Brandon Duncan (Alahna Guthrie), Cody Duncan; greatgrandchildren, Stella Duncan, Rana Duncan; sisters, Wanda Tomberlain, Gloria Miller, Marilyn Taylor, Freddi Ward, and many other nieces, nephews and other family members.

Patti was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She was born in West Nashville where she resided until her passing. She married John and had two daughters, Regina and Angela. Patti worked at  Bell South, where she made many life-long friends. She enjoyed going to play Bunco with her sister Wanda and attending Red Hatter events with the ladies.  After retirement, she devoted her time to her grandsons, Brandon and Cody, who were her pride and joy. She spent many weekends taking them to the Red Caboose Park and to see movies and play at the playground in the mall.  In the last several years she has been enjoying her time with her Great Grand-daughters Stella and Rana.  Every time they walked in the room they put a smile on her face. Her kind sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Western Hills Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 with David Estes Officiating.  Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers include: Brandon Duncan, Cody Duncan, Chad Croy, Walter Croy, Austin Croy, and Ashton Croy.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Western Hills Church.
